Discovering who is Mario

Ciao. Thank you for following up - genuinely appreciated. This was never about sentiment, of course. Just a way of meeting interesting people in a city of twelve million where the odds are frankly absurd. What happens next - who knows. But here we are, and that's already something.

Artisan of Imagery - Serial Entrepreneur
Marketing Wizard - Journalist - and much more.

An endlessly curious and multifaceted creative, born in Catania, Sicily, and based in London for the past twelve years. You might find him searching for vintage cameras at Portobello Road or a countryside flea market, sipping tea in a quiet bookshop, chasing tornadoes across the American Panhandle - or behind the wheel of one of his classic cars, competing as a gentleman driver in vintage racing events.

Mario easily shifts from walking his dog in the park to meeting with a prime minister, from giving lectures on museum marketing to organising book launches for friends. A devoted lover of animals, he shares his home with an old grumpy dog and a snobby tuxedo cat with impeccable taste, and deeply misses his beloved blind cat, who passed away after 14 wonderful years together.

He has founded and led businesses across diverse sectors, from multimedia publishing to artificial intelligence. He successfully reinvented himself as a photographer - or "artisan of imagery", as he prefers to call himself - receiving several international awards for his work. Mario never settles. He is allergic to mediocrity, and the word "impossible" simply doesn't exist in his vocabulary.

Based in London since 2014, where he has received letters from Queen Elizabeth II, the King, and the Princess of Wales. In 2020, he was named a Lord of the Principality of Sealand - mostly as a reminder not to take life too seriously.

Clearly, I'd enjoy getting to know you. If the feeling is even remotely mutual, now you know how to find me.
